Clayton Curated: Film & Storytelling

Event Info

  April 24, 2026

  5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Clayton Curated is our new members only conversation series spotlighting respected voices across film, art, design, and culture. Each gathering invites an intimate evening of ideas, storytelling, and connection in a relaxed, welcoming setting that brings members closer to the creative forces shaping culture today.

For our inaugural film edition, members are invited to join Bill Holderman and Kelly Magelky for an open, thoughtful conversation exploring the evolving world of independent film and storytelling. Bill is a director, screenwriter, and producer best known for his feature debut Book Club, with deep ties to the Sundance community, while Kelly is an EMMY nominated producer & director. The evening is designed as a real conversation between two creatives who live and breathe the world of film.

Together, Bill and Kelly will share perspectives on creative risk taking, the realities of bringing stories to screen, and what the future of independent film may look like as Sundance enters its next chapter. The conversation will move fluidly between personal experiences, current and upcoming projects, and the behind-the-scenes moments that rarely make it outside the industry.
